The programme provides the academic staging of legal training in a context that is practical and provides a link to the vocational stage of training, but also develops skills that are more generally attractive to a wide range of employers both within and outside the legal profession.

Entry requirements

A degree or certificate of academic standing from one of the professional bodies; good command of the English language.

Course modules

Modules include: Introduction to English legal method and legal research; the law of contract; the law of tort; land law; equity and trusts; criminal law; constitutional and administrative law; EU law.

Assessment methods

Assessment is by examinations.
