Successful completion of the course requires 180 level 4 credits; this includes all the taught modules and the dissertation; the taught modules consist of 5 core modules and 1 elective module.
Current 1st level professional registration with a relevant professional body such as NMC or CSP and be working in clinical practice; degree of 2.2 or higher; or successful completion of an undergraduate diploma in a related subject and a minimum of 5 years professional experience and evidence of recent study is considered on an individual basis.
Core modules: Research methods; health and social policy; evidence based practice; health assessment in clinical practice; clinical management; elective modules: contemporary issues; diversity in health care; developing work process knowledge for workplace learning; physiological responses to critical injury and illness.
