This programme aims to provide students with a broad view of the issues relevant to pharmacy practice and medicines management in community pharmacy and primary care.

Entry requirements

Applicants must be practising community pharmacists or pharmacists working in primary care.

Course modules

Year 1 modules (Certificate): communication and consultation skills; clinical pharmacy for medicines management; promoting health through community pharmacy. Year 2 (Diploma) modules: working with prescribers in primary care; clinical pharmacy for medicines management (2); developing and delivering high quality services. Year 3 (Master's): research methods; advanced professional practice; research project.

Assessment methods

Assessment is based on the completion of a research project.
