Master's degree, normally in education policy and/or management, or in social sciences, or equivalent in professional experience and a professionally accredited programme; currently be a practising professional in the education field; English language at level 7 is required.
Unit 1a: Introduction to theories and methods as an educational researcher; unit 1b: critical and feminist theories and perspectives; units 2a / 2b: research methods and evaluation: ethics and ethnographies; unit 2c: organisational work ethnography; units 3a / 3b: thesis proposal; unit 4: research thesis.
This will be between 50,000 and 60,000 words and will draw from the previous 5 assignments.
Participants in professional doctorates may be able to obtain help with tuition fees from their employers.
