Research interests include: consumption, domestic life and material culture; cultural anthropology; ethnicities; family, parenting and personal relationships; globalisation; health and illness; media and cultural studies; migration and mobilities; risk and anxieties; social and cultural theory; subculture; urban space; utopianism.

Entry requirements

Honours degree in a relevant subject with a 1st or 2.1 classification; exceptionally we may be able to consider applications from people without degrees who have professional qualifications and several years' professional experience; the minimum score for entry is IELTS 6.0 or the equivalent (TOEFL 550, TOEFL computer 213, Cambridge Proficiency or GCSE grade C).
