Research encompasses work in cultural, social, political and development or economic geography. It is clustered around 4 intersecting areas: family mobility, higher education and medical geography or social demography; international migration, development, sustainability and cultural economies; South Asian and cross-cultural world literature, postcolonial life worlds and literary representations of place and space; and cultures of mobility�s and security, particularly through bio politics, resilience and the empirical context of the aerial. Other important areas of research are in spatial theory; health; GIS (geographic information systems) and gender equality.
A 2.1 Honours degree, or the equivalent, if educated outside the UK. Non standard qualifications can be considered individually. If English is not your native language IELTS 6.5 is required.
