Leadership and Development

The programme will appeal to students with an interest in pertinent debates on the interaction between Leadership and Development globally, with an emphasis on the Global South. As such, students will develop their skills for careers in academia, public and private sectors as well as with non- governmental and international organisations among others.

Entry requirements

A bachelors degree with 2:1 honours degree (or international equivalent) in the Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities, Law or other relevant disciplines.

Course modules

Modules include: Leadership and society; the state and development in Africa and Asia; emerging powers in global leadership.

Assessment methods

Assessment is through essays, written examinations and oral presentations.
