Maxillofacial Prosthetic Rehabilitation

This course is for maxillofacial prosthetists, technologists, and prosthodontists working in a hospital environment or similar practice, to enhance their knowledge of intra and extra oral prosthetic facial rehabilitation and improve their clinical and technical skills.

Entry requirements

UK applicants must have a diploma in professional studies (maxillofacial prosthetics and technology) or degree in dental technology with at least 2 years post-qualification technical experience; overseas applicants should have a dental technology qualification and at least 2 years graduate experience; overseas applicants are not expected to have completed the diploma in professional studies (maxillofacial prosthetics and technology) but must have a focused interest in maxillofacial and craniofacial technology; overseas applicants must also hold a dental qualification and employed as a prosthodontist in a dental practice, dental school, hospital, or community dental services environment and have access to appropriate library facilities, email and internet; a computing specification applies to this programme.
