This course covers dental stem cell culture; iPS and ES cells; tooth bioengineering; and role of stem cells in tooth repair. This course is for both dentists and biological scientists who desire to learn more about the latest advances in cell and molecule-based dentistry and also gain experience in carrying out laboratory-based, cutting-edge research in dental stem cell biology.
A dental, medical or biological sciences qualification plus at least 2 years post-qualification experience.
Assessment is by written examinations; practical tests and written report; written report and seminar presentation are the assessment methods used.
