Palliative Care

The course develops the skills necessary to appraise evidence based care and conduct research on issues of palliative care to inform clinical practice and service development.

Entry requirements

An Honours degree (2.1 or above) in medicine, nursing or dentistry or a 2.1 Honours degree in life sciences or social sciences from a UK or overseas university; students must also have experience of working in palliative care or an associated area, e.g. clinical or social care research.

Assessment methods

Assessment is by examinations and coursework, and for MSc students, completion of a research study project.
