The programme has been created for international qualified healthcare practitioners to acquire advanced understanding, knowledge and skills to deliver, manage, develop and research healthcare practice and education outside the UK. The programme includes a 10 day period of clinical observation.
Applicants should be qualified nurses or midwives accredited by their country's governing body; possess an Honours degree (2.1 or above) or equivalent; other relevant qualifications and experience (including for those without an Honours degree) are welcome; entry via the postgraduate route: applicants who have already studied at a level equivalent to a UK Master's programme are assessed primarily on the basis of achievement at this level and are expected to demonstrate a clear pass (55 or above).
