The course has been designed for nurses who have completed a postgraduate diploma (PGDip) with registration as an Adult, Children's or Mental Health Nurse and who wish to obtain a Master's award. Career progression frequently requires nurses to be educated to Master's level and the MSc Nursing will allow you to demonstrate your academic standing.

Entry requirements

A Postgraduate diploma in nursing with registration (adult, children's or mental health) with an overall average mark of 55 percent or above. Students are also required to submit a project outline. Assessment methods

Assessment is by coursework.

Sponsorship information

Staff from contracted trusts are eligible to have their study funded, subject to agreement by their manager. Students not sponsored by their employer may wish to pursue other sources of funding.
