Modern Greek Studies (History)

This programme leads to a discipline-based degree with specialism in 19th and 20th-century Greek history, with particular reference to the processes of nation- and state-formation and consolidation, and the causes and nature of the Greek civil war of the 1940s.

Entry requirements

Good Honours degree (2.1 or above) from a UK university; or a GPA of 7.5 from a university in Greece or Cyprus; or an equivalent qualification, in history;or in modern Greek studies; for all students, a competent working knowledge of modern Greek is required.
