Theatre and Performance Studies
The programme offers students the opportunity to study theatre and performance studies in a dynamic research environment in the heart of London. From avant-garde drama to political action, queer performance, live art, dance, cultural tourism, and the spectacles of the West End, students will be introduced to a range of theatre and performance theories and practices in an expanded field.
An Honours degree (2.1 or above) in theatre; performance studies; English; or related fields, or equivalent overseas degree (minimum 3.3 GPA, USA); strong interest and/or engagement in performance practice is an asset.
Modules include: Theatre and performance theory; theatre and performance research; dissertation; plus optional modules.
Assessment is by essays; dissertation; lab-based research projects.
