European Public Policy
This course provides conceptual and research tools for the critical analysis of public policy and a broad political and historical approach to European & International Studies. This programme attracts high-profile people to lead seminars. Ideal for employment in the EU, business, public service, research and teaching.
A Minimum 2.1 degree or equivalent, in a subject relevant to the intended area of study (mainly European studies, public policy, politics, sociology, law, economics or history).
Modules include: European union: history, institutions, politics; the policy process. Optional modules: lobbying and policy making in the EU; european public policy; european identities and the EU; foreign policies of the EU; political parties in europe; the EU and asia: politics, security and economics.
Assessment is by essay.
