Contemporary British History
This course covers 20th century history, including politics; economics; gender; demography and social history. Areas of research include voluntary action, the advertising industry; Britain and Northern Ireland; the representations of women in museums.
Good Honours degree (2.1 or above) or overseas equivalent and an Master's in a related subject; this need not be history but students without history degrees are expected to show advanced skills of analysis and historical research.
