An Honours degree (2.1 or above) or overseas equivalent in history or a related subject such as politics; students without a history degree should be able to demonstrate relevant research and analysis skills.
Modules include: Britain since 1900: politics, society, economy, culture, international relations; contemporary history in practice; Britain 1900-45: politics, society, economy, culture, international relations; Britain since 1945: politics, society, economy, culture, international relations; contemporary history in practice; plus optional modules.
Assessment is by coursework and a compulsory dissertation.
