Spanish Portuguese and Latin American Studies
This programme enables students to deepen and broaden their understanding of the Hispanic and Lusophone world, while providing the opportunity to concentrate on a disciplinary or country-specific focus of interest; the programme studies literature; language; history; and culture from medieval times to the present and covers Spain; Portugal; Brazil; Lusophone Africa; and Latin America.
Normally a Master's qualification or equivalent in a relevant subject/disciplinary area. In exceptional circumstances, very strong applicants with a Bachelors degree with 1st class or 2.1 honours may be considered without a Master's degree.
