King's College London, University of London
Theology and Ministry
This programme has 3 component parts studied sequentially: a taught component consisting of modules on different aspects of theology, ministry and professional practice (e.g. systematic theology; biblical studies; sociology of religion; moral theology and empirical research methods for the study of ministry); the ministerial focused study looks at ministry in practice via an empirically based project; and the research-based thesis enables students to explore an aspect of theology and ministry of personal or professional interest.
A Master's degree in a subject related to theology and ministry and 3 years' or equivalent experience in the practice of ministry; applicants with a Master's degree in a subject unrelated to theology and ministry are welcome.
A variety of bursaries and studentships are available from the School and the Department of Theology and Religious Studies.
