Neuromusculoskeletal Physiotherapy (Advanced)
This programme is designed to prepare qualified physiotherapists for careers as advanced practitioners who are able to design, implement and evaluate comprehensive rehabilitation regimes tailored to the needs of individuals with neuromusculoskeletal disorders.
An Honours degree (2.1 or above) or equivalent degree in physiotherapy; for physiotherapists qualifying pre-1993, a diploma in physiotherapy; 2 years' experience managing musculoskeletal problems; registration with the HPC.
Assessment is by coursework, presentations and written, oral, practical and clinical examinations.
Self-funded or employer; members can apply to the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy for a grant towards the costs.
