The course aims to provide a deep understanding of techniques, mechanisms and network design and operation of current, emerging and future IP-based mobile broadband networks. Emphasis is given to both theoretical and practical aspects of broadband networks. This includes network analyses, design methods, implementations and experiments.
A 2.1 Honours degree in electronics; electrical engineering; computer science; applied mathematics; or physics.
Assessment is by written examinations.
