Web Intelligence

This course aims to improve students' ability to solve challenging computational problems related to advanced reasoning systems for the web; students gain a broad introduction to web intelligence, and a thorough knowledge of techniques for developing intelligent software.

Entry requirements

A minimum 2.1 Honours degree or equivalent in computer science or related subject, e.g. mathematics; physics; electrical engineering; or a joint degree in 2 such subjects; competence in computer programming to the level expected at the end of the 1st year of a BSc Honours degree in computer science; entry qualifications may be lower for students with substantial relevant work experience.

Assessment methods

Assessed is through coursework; written examinations; final project report.
