This course enables students to develop and enhance their knowledge and understanding and critically reflect on theories and ideologies central to the notion of health, and appreciate the social influences and context of health and health-related practice; students develop awareness of modern social theory and the relationship between health and society.
Minimum of 2.2 Honours degree and/or a registrable professional qualification appropriate to the programme, e.g. in nursing.
