Climate Change (History, Culture and Society)

The programme develops students' understanding of the interaction between climate change and culture and cultivates transferable skills suitable for policy-facing organisations, cultural institutions, international and national governmental and NGOs and environmental consultancies.

Entry requirements

A 2:1 honours undergraduate degree (or international equivalent). Candidates who do not achieve a 2:1 but have professional or voluntary experience will also be considered. Mature candidates will be considered favourably.

Course modules

Modules include: Climate science and history; climate change and culture; practising social research; plus optional modules.

Assessment methods

Assessment is through coursework-based methods (essays, presentations, practical write-ups).
