Design (Product and Space)
This course offers a space for students to test and position their own design curiosity and motivation within the spectrum of product and spatial design; there are no predetermined leads to follow, simply an expectation to challenge and take risks rather than to passively accept; in this spirit design is seen as a genuine means to provoke change.
An Honours degree or equivalent in a related arts or science subject; appropriate professional experience; portfolio; interview; applicants whose 1st language is not English require 6.5 IELTS score or equivalent, with at least 5.5 in reading, writing, speaking and listening.
Modules include: Process; focus; context 1 (product and space); context 2 (product and space); project and exhibition.
Assessment is based on practical design projects; presentations; Master's project and exhibition.
