Behavioural Decision Science

The course introduces you to applications of judgement and decision-making research in areas such as consumer behaviour, politics, sports, economics and health, providing students with a firm basis in both the theory and practice of cognitive science and decision-making. Accordingly, you will explore a selection of current research topics relevant to individual and managerial decision-making, wellbeing and policy making.

Entry requirements

Applicants should have a 2.1 Honours degree or above, or equivalent in social science, business, or science. Applicants with a 2.2 Honours degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline that have suitable professional/research experience, and/or other relevant qualifications are encouraged to apply. In addition, applicants must be able to demonstrate mathematical competence equivalent to grade C or above at GCSE level.
