Logistics and Supply Chain Management

This programme builds on the theory and practical application of key business functions to develop a sound understanding of the field of global business and in particular the role of supply chain and logistics management within that context. Strategic and operational perspectives are addressed. There is an emphasis on the practical skills essential for the modern international business manager specialising in supply chain and logistics management. The dissertation provides the opportunity for an enhanced focus on these specific aspects of international business.

Entry requirements

An Honours degree or equivalent in any subject; applicants whose 1st language is not English require am IELTS score of 6.5 with a a minimum of 6.0 in reading, listening, speaking and writing.

Course modules

Modules include: Operations management; logistics; information management; managing people and organisations; international logistics; supply chain management; strategic operations management; research methods and dissertation.

Assessment methods

Assessment includes formal examinations; coursework, both on an individual and group basis; in-class presentations; reflective diary.
