Employment Law and Mediation

This course provides detailed knowledge and understanding of employment law. The programme also provides an opportunity for students to critically evaluate mediation as a means of dispute resolution and enable them to develop competence in practical mediator skills and techniques.

Entry requirements

An Honours degree (2.2 and above); or professional qualification of equal standing; or substantive relevant work experience; applicants whose 1st language is not English require an IELTS score of 6.5 with 5.5 in reading, listening, speaking and writing.

Modules may include: mediation; employment law in context.

Assessment methods

Assessment of each module takes a variety of forms: individual and group exercises, case studies and written reports
