The course offers you the opportunity to enhance the skills of critical enquiry and gain an appreciation of the underlying theory, research and policy guiding current rehabilitation practice. Suitable for all practitioners working in health and social care like nurses, doctors, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, social workers and speech and language therapists.

Entry requirements

A degree in a relevant professional area; valid professional registration; applicants whose 1st language is not English require an overall score of IELTS 6.5, with the remaining sub-test components at a score of no less than 6.0.

Course modules

Modules include: Policy and practice in rehabilitation; critical practice in rehabilitation; evaluation of reflection in rehabilitation; research methods. Optional modules: life after stroke; towards self management after stroke; pain management; respiratory rehabilitation; living with and beyond cancer.
