Advanced Practice (Healthcare)
The course is an interprofessional programme, offering the opportunity to work towards professional competencies (e.g. NMC); due to its flexibility, an education and practice mentor as well as a research supervisor provide individual support; the course director oversees all aspects of student support.
An Honours degree; non-standard applicants may be required to submit an essay; interview; applicants whose 1st language is not English require academic IELTS of 6.5 overall.
Modules include: personal, professional and leadership; developments in advanced practice; research methods; research project planning and management; dissertation.
Assessment methods vary but may include oral presentations; reports; portfolio development; and a dissertation.
