Higher Education (Research, Evaluation and Enhancement)
This programme is undertaken entirely online over 4 years. It enables experienced professionals to become autonomous researchers and gain deeper insight into their professional practices and concerns. It is designed for a diverse range of people working, or interested in, higher education (H.E.). During the first 2 years participants undertake modules covering key issues for H.E. including policy and change, enhancing learning, teaching and assessment, and evaluation. In years 3 and 4 they undertake research and write a thesis supported by a supervisor. Participants benefit from studying with a cohort of students who act as critical friends.
A good Honours degree and preferably a Master's degree, or its equivalent.
Combination of assessed coursework and thesis.
