Creative Writing (distance learning)

This international programme links students in the UK and overseas through virtual learning. The programme is mediated by online tutorials and conferences. A cohort of 18-20 students exchanges and critiques writing in a range of literary forms. You will be allocated a personal tutor and our course site provides research training modules and a cybercafé where you can meet and communicate informally. At the end of the summer term of your 1st year, a 5-day Summer School is held on campus, consisting of workshops, personal progress reviews, and visits by agents, publishers and writers.

Portfolio of original writing and undergraduate degree. Applicants whose 1st language is not English require IELTS 7.0 (with a minimum 6.5 in each component) or equivalent.
