This is a broad based programme of study for those wishing to gain a thorough grounding in the theory, structure and working of the modern international system.
An upper 2nd Class Honours degree, or its equivalent. Relevant professional qualifications and experience will also be considered. IELTS: 6.5 or equivalent.
Modules include: Major approaches to the study of international relations; theory and method in postgraduate studies; dissertation (20,000 words).
Assessment is based on a 5,000-word essay for each module, and a dissertation.
Bursaries of �1000 per annum, subject to annual renewal, for overseas students of outstanding academic merit.
