This programme allows a combination of modules (from the domestic to the global) that best suit the background and interests of the student in the broad arena of politics.

Entry requirements

An upper 2nd Class Honours degree, or its equivalent. Relevant professional qualifications and experience will also be considered. For international students: IELTS 6.5 score, or equivalent qualification.

Course modules

Core modules: Major approaches to the study of international relations; theory and method in postgraduate studies; dissertation.

Assessment methods

Students take 5 modules each assessed by a 5,000-word essay and complete a 20,000-word dissertation.
