Professional Development

This course enables students to choose optional modules in line with their professional development needs in subjects such as: leadership and management; change management; personal effectiveness. Students can start with one module and return later to build it into a qualification, or enrol for the qualification at the outset. The 'step-on, step-off' nature means students can pace their study to suit their own work/life balance. Students may also make a claim (APL) to gain credits for exemption from some modules. Progression routes to Postgraduate Diploma and Master's Degree are available via the Professional Practice route.

Entry requirements

Demonstration that the modules chosen meet the individual's needs and the needs of their organisation. Students whose 1st language is not English must provide evidence of proficiency in the English language (IELTS, TOEFL or equivalent qualification).

Course modules

Modules: Personal learning and development. Plus optional modules.

Assessment methods

Assessments are based on applying each student's learning to work based activities so they are highly relevant and useful, and there are no exams.
