Advanced Marketing Management
Our students develop the crucial marketing management skills of critical integrative thinking and collaborative working within a curriculum focused on the integration of theory and practice. Throughout the programme you will continually confront �real� world issues in marketing. The programme has been approved and accredited by the Chartered Institute of Marketing to provide direct entry onto the CIM�s Professional Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing. Following the taught modules each student carries out an individual in-depth piece of research and produces a dissertation, this is often based on a practical project conducted with a company.
A degree in Marketing or in a related business subject with a significant marketing component or degrees in other subjects with significant practical experience in marketing may also be considered. Applicants whose 1st language is not English require an IELTS score of 7.0 or equivalent qualification.
Compulsory modules include: Marketing in practice; researching markets and marketing; developing a critical understanding of marketing (consumer, business to business and product, service systems). Optional modules may include: Brand communications; brand management; business models and market makers; digital marketing; managing marketing channels; managing prices and profits.
Assessments include: Individual and group coursework, examination and dissertation.
