International Executive Management

The programme is an international leadership programme which focuses on an innovative, collaborative learning approach, or managerial mindsets. Participants are encouraged to explore and gain a true appreciation of different perspectives as each module is delivered over a 10 day period in different countries (UK, Canada, India, China and Brazil). Participants also undertake a managerial exchange where they spend a week observing their co-participant in action, focusing on the process of management. Participants who successfully complete the 5 modules and managerial exchange may elect to undertake a further major paper of dissertation length to be awarded an MSc international executive management.

Entry requirements

Minimum of 10 years of work experience including extensive managerial experience. Students whose 1st language is not English must demonstrate evidence of proficiency in the English language (IELTS, TOEFL or equivalent).

Course modules

Subject areas include: Managing change and continuity (the action mind-set); managing context (the worldly mind-set); managing organisations (the analytic mind-set); managing relationships (the collaborative mind-set); managing self (the reflective mind-set).

Assessment methods

Assessment is in the form of reflective papers after each module and major paper.
