Our programme provides the opportunity to undertake a short, in depth independent research project in one of our research groups; it will equip you for more sustained and original work at the doctoral level or for advanced-level applied research positions. This degree will develop relevant analytical and technical skills, together with transferable skills related to research, communication, problem solving, and independent working.
Upper 2nd Class undergraduate or Master's degree in Chemistry, or an equivalent degree in a related discipline such as physics or chemical engineering, appropriate to the proposed research project.
Assessment is based on original research and thesis.
