Le Cordon Bleu’s highly recognised Cuisine Diploma offers the most rigorous and comprehensive programme in classic French culinary techniques available today. By progressively teaching students classical methods and professional techniques, knowledge will be solidly increased, allowing the student time to apply their skills to any type of cuisine and develop their confidence in adapting recipes and ideas.

Entry requirements

High school diploma or equivalent, evidence of English language. No prior culinary experience is required. All students must be aged 18 years or over.

Course modules

3 months: Basic Cuisine
- Classical Cuisine Culinary techniques
- Kitchen Management 1
- Implementing Health, Safety and Hygiene procedures.

3 months: Intermediate Cuisine
- French Regional Cuisine
- European Culinary techniques and Cuisine
- Kitchen Management 2
- Implementing Health, Safety and Hygiene procedures.

3 months: Superior Cuisine
- Event organisation and preparation
- Complex savoury restaurant contemporary style dishes
- World culinary techniques and cuisine
- Kitchen management 3
- Health, Safety and Hygiene procedures.

Approx 18 – 21 hours per week.


The course costs £19,100. The course fee ngredients, uniforms, Wüsthof knife set, learning materials.
