Building Services Engineering

This course equips students with the ability to play a leading role in the design, installation and management of building services.

Entry requirements

Applicants should either have at least a 2nd Class Honours degree in the cognate subject of building services engineering, at least a 2nd Class Honours degree in a non-cognate subject supported by evidence of an aptitude for the subject applied for, or have equivalent experience or training, normally from within the work environment.

Course modules

Master's final project/dissertation and research skills (60 credits); project management (20 credits); sustainable buildings (20 credits); BIM and MEP (20 credits); WBL, developing engineering portfolios and study methods (20 credits); BEM and intelligent buildings (20 credits); sustainable systems design (20 credits).
