Sustainable Urban Management

With urban areas expanding every day, sustainable development has never been more important. Our course has been designed to help you tackle the housing, regeneration and management issues that face leading professionals in this field. You will examine different interpretations of sustainable development, exploring neighbourhood planning and community engagement, and providing you with the knowledge to plan and deliver your own programmes of urban management.

Entry requirements

A 2nd Class Honours degree in the cognate subject of housing, health, geography, planning, social sciences or a professionally orientated subject of teaching, environmental health or community work or similarly related subject; or at least a 2nd Class Honours degree in a non-cognate subject with knowledge of housing, or significant practical work experience of housing, planning, and community development, or professional practice relating to the built environment and neighbourhood well-being. IELTS 6.0 with no skills below 5.5, or an equivalent qualification.
