This course offers the opportunity to explore the latest concepts, methods and tools for software engineering. Students investigate state-of-the-art techniques relating to software quality, design and development which will enable them to produce robust and complex systems. Students develop management techniques, advanced modelling skills and applications that will enable them to progress in their career.
Applicants should either have at least a 2nd Class Honours degree in the cognate subjects of computing or programming, at least a 2nd Class Honours degree in a non-cognate subject supported by evidence of an aptitude for the subject applied for, or have equivalent experience or training, normally from within the work environment.
