Supply Chain Management and Logistics

This course covers effective management of supply chains and logistics recognised as key factors in sustaining a company's competitive advantage. You will combine your knowledge, practical tools and techniques of supply chain management and logistics and apply this to complex regional, national and international settings. You will engage in a range of specialist learning which is integrated with core business topics, such as strategy and the improvement of business processes.

Entry requirements

A 2:2 honours degree in a related subject or have equivalent experience or training, normally from within the work environment. IELTS: 6.0 with no skill below 5.5 (or equivalent).

Course modules

Modules include: Applied logistics and inventory management; business process and operations management; corporate strategy; global supply chain management; procurement; contracts and strategic sourcing; dissertation. Option modules: advanced project and risk management; contemporary marketing; corporate finance; financial economics; international environment of business; international marketing - emerging markets; international trade and law; leadership and management development; management of international finance; management; people and organisations; strategic management of international enterprises.
