International Human Resource Management
This course, looking at employers around the globe, will use qualitative and quantitative methods to critically evaluate company data, including the analysis of statistical information such as recruitment and retention rates. You will also measure the success of training, looking at how it benefits staff and what the real return on investment is. Meanwhile, your qualitative data focuses on employee and manager perceptions, employer brand and how a company becomes an employer of choice.
Applicants should either have a 2nd Class Honours degree or have equivalent experience or training, normally from within the work environment. All applications should be supported by a reference, either academic or professional. Applicants whose 1st language is not English require: IELTS 6.0 with no skills below 5.5, or an equivalent qualification. The University provides excellent support for any applicant who may be required to undertake additional English language courses.
