Leeds Beckett University

This course provides a route into the legal professions for the non-law graduate; it is ideal for graduates with a non-law background who wish to develop a legal career; the course covers the key `foundation' subjects required for a qualifying law degree; it is delivered by a mix of online learning activities, directed study and small group seminar sessions.

Entry requirements

Applicants must have a degree or its equivalent from a recognised institution of higher education in the UK or abroad; if the qualification is not a 1st degree from a UK university, a certificate of academic standing must be obtained from the law society or the bar council; this should be applied for as early as possible, even before obtaining a place on the course.
