Special Educational Needs Coordination

This programme is for newly appointed SENCOs or an existing teachers who is new to the SENCO role. Students are required to complete The National Award for Special Educational Needs Co-ordination. At the start of the module students do a thorough self-evaluation to identify gaps in their knowledge and understanding and to assess what direction their learning will take based on their own experience and their work place needs.

Entry requirements

1st degree. Qualified teacher status (QTS) and currently working as a special educational needs (SEN) coordinator in a school.
