Responsible Tourism Management
This course explores domestic and international tourism; as responsible principles are as applicable to the Yorkshire Dales as they are to The Gambia. In addition to developing subject knowledge, students learn how to plan, implement and evaluate responsible tourism polices and practices. Students look at real issues and solutions and develop the management skills needed to operate effectively at a strategic level within government, non-governmental and private sectors.
5 years' experience in tourism, conservation or development; applicants with business, marketing and information technology backgrounds must demonstrate how to transfer skills; all applicants whose 1st language is not English require IELTS 6.0 with no score below 6.0.
