Practice Based Play Therapy

The course helps students to improve the lives of vulnerable children as they develop their skills through research. Students study the latest theories in this emerging sector, including the importance of neurobiology on improving the effects of play therapy for traumatised children. Exploring the shift from traditional therapy methods to more modern techniques such as movement, breathing and sensory activities, will demonstrate the importance of keeping methods up-to-date and suited to each child as an individual.
