Sports and Exercise Medicine
This course enables students to use science and medicine to help top athletes reach their physical peak and aid the general population in maintaining healthy exercise lifestyles. Students gain practical expertise that will allow them to assess, treat and support individuals from a variety of sporting disciplines. For example students learn to understand the process of an injury audit in order to identify risks, and learn how to implement an evidence-based treatment plan that minimises the chance of re-injury or illness.
