Journalism

This course offers the opportunity to take the NCTJ Diploma examinations. Trainees work in a dedicated newsroom producing the daily website Yorkshire Voice, which gives them the chance to work on real news in real time. The paper is distributed to a wide audience and acts as a showcase for the trainees' work, offering them the chance to create an impressive portfolio of cuttings. From week 1, students also become interns for the Yorkshire Evening Post, one of the biggest regional evening papers in the country, as part of a student newsroom.
